Please read this FAQ before you send us some question. We will not reply in case you ask about something mentioned in this FAQ, so don't jump over it.

Q1: How can I download something from NewTorrents.info?
A1: This site doesn't offer anything but torrent files to download. Torrent file is something like list of real files shared by users all over the world with some more information. You need some torrent client, if you want to download this file with .torrent extension. Without it, you will see only bunch of strange letters and characters. We can recommend you one of these freeware clients listed in the column on right side, ideal one is uTorrent, which is extremely small in size and works pretty good.

Q2: I've download some release, but there are only hundreds of files with strange names?
A2: This is pretty OK, these files are 15 (or 50) MB RAR archives. You need WinRAR to extract these smaller files to get bigger one. WinRAR may ask you about overwriting existing files when extracting - don't worry and click on Overwrite all.

Q3: There is some file with .NFO extension, but when i want to open it, there's only some strange error.
A3: This is so called NFO. Every release on our site should contain this file. You need some NFO viewer (the best one is Damn NFO Viewer) to open it, or just right click on this file and select open in -> notepad. You should always read this file, because it brings important information about release and method how to make it working.

Q4: I have unpacked some release, but there is only some .bin, .cue, .iso, .img or other big file.
A4: All files with extensions written above are so called images. You can imagine it as some big RAR archive, but that's not so important at the moment. You got two options: a) burn this file as image with Nero (Recorder -> Burn image) or any other media burning software. b) mount this file as virtual drive with Alcohol 120% or Daemon Tools. Q5: I have downloaded some movie, but when I start it, there's no video or no sound.
A5: Basically, you are missing some codecs. You need sound and video codec in order to play some DVDRiP, MPEG video and some others. The most used on is Koepi's XviD, which can be found here. Other good codec / filter is ffdshow. If you experience problems with sound, try to install newest drivers for your audiocard or motherboard. If it doesn't help, install AC3Filter. We don't recommend installing codec packs. Next option is that release is nuked and it simply doesn't contain sound, but these files are always marked and deleted from the site.

Q6: How can I upload my torrent to NewTorrents?
A6: If you want to upload some torrent, try public uploads. NewTorrents.info is private site. This means that upload is allowed only to certain users with upload permissions. We are targeted to scene releases only, so we don't want any kind of your home made rip, movie or music album. If you got fast upload and/or access to some new sources, you can contact us, and we can talk about joining our upload team.
